Since the launch of the Hope Vision Project in Jiaoling County, Meizhou City, Guangdong Province in 2023, the Yuk Ching Charity Trust has provided full support to the initiative, working alongside the Communist Youth League Jiaoling County Committee and the Jiaoling County Volunteers Association to conduct large-scale screenings and medical assistance. By May 2025, the project has achieved remarkable results—Jiaoling County People’s Hospital has successfully performed free cataract surgeries for 490 economically disadvantaged seniors, achieving not only a 100% success rate but also an over 98% post-operative satisfaction rate, bringing light back into their lives.

Many seniors who regained their vision expressed deep gratitude by sending handwritten thank-you letters to the Yuk Ching Charity Trust. Their heartfelt words documented life-changing moments—from living in a "blurred world" to regaining independence, from relying on family to rediscovering the joy of reading, farming, and daily activities… Each letter overflowed with sincere appreciation for the foundation and medical team.
