On September 14, 2024, the AVS Volunteers along with the Victoria Harbourview Volunteer Team, and collaborated with the Yuk Ching Charity Trust to organize a Mid-Autumn Festival activity involving home visits and the distribution of care packages to elderly residents with mobility challenges in Shek Wai Kok and Cheung Shan Estate. A total of 70 volunteers participated in this event, which not only provided material support but also warmth and care to the elderly. The volunteers listened to their stories and needs.

We hope that organizing such visitation activities is crucial for fostering community cohesion, promoting intergenerational communication, and enhancing the spirit of social assistance. Through interaction and support, we aim to bring joy and warmth to the elderly and provide help and support to more people in need.
