YCCT organized the Elderly Fun Day again on January 27, 2024, with a total of 120 elderly members participating.

The event was successfully co-organized by the Shek Wai Kok Estate Office and the The Assn. of Directors & Former Directors of Poi Oi Hospital Ltd. Leung Sing Tak College (LSTC) Student Union. Students from LSTC Student Union provided wonderful singing and dancing performances as well as excellent hosting for the elderly members. Additionally, to raise awareness about fraud prevention among the elderly, YCCT invited officers from the HKPF Regional Crime Prevention Office to deliver a fraud prevention lecture, which was greatly beneficial to the attending elderly.

The elderly were delighted to listen to and enjoy the singing and dancing performances while gaining knowledge about fraud prevention. During the subsequent lucky draw session, many elderly participants also received daily necessities, electrical appliances, and other gifts. Finally, the chairman and trustees of the fund distributed souvenirs to each participant. The fund hopes that this event will bring joy to the participating elderly and make them feel cared for.
