A total of 141 students from four beneficiary primary schools participated in the Sunnyside Up Project this year. According to student and parent surveys conducted in each school, over 83% of students and parents agreed that the program helped to enhance their interest in learning English, improve their English proficiency, and enjoy participating in the Sunnyside Up Project English enrichment courses.
Among the 26 sixth-grade students from Good Counsel Catholic Primary School and St. Charles School who participated in the program this year, 14 students (54%) were admitted to Band 1 English secondary schools, while 9 students (35%) were admitted to Band 2 secondary schools.
Based on classroom observations, the majority of students participating in the program actively and enthusiastically engaged in the lessons, demonstrating a positive attitude.
