On July 22nd, YCCT Food & Resources Centre collaborated with the Island Harbourview Volunteer Team to conduct a door-to-door distribution of food packs to elderly members with mobility difficulties in Shek Wai Kok Estate and Cheung Shan Estate. This activity aimed to provide food and supplies support to elderly members in need.
During this event, volunteers from the Island Harbourview Volunteer Team and the Yuqing Fund visited the elderly residents with mobility difficulties in Shek Wai Kok Estate and Cheung Shan Estate, delivering food packs to them. The food packs contained food and other essential items, offering them assistance and warmth.
This activity not only provided practical material support to the elderly, but also brought them care and the warmth of the community. Through the dedication and efforts of the volunteers, the elderly residents of Shek Wai Kok Estate and Cheung Shan Estate felt the concern and support of the community.
