YCCT sponsors the Tsuen Ching Social Welfare Department to host a two-day, one-night staycation on September 20 for families living in subdivided units (mainly families served by service units of the community halls operated by the Tsuen Ching organization). Through parent-child staycation activities, the program teaches parents in subdivided-unit households positive parenting skills. By applying the techniques learned over the two days and one night, it strengthens positive parent-child communication, reduces conflicts, and helps prevent child abuse.
Meanwhile, by providing hotel accommodation, the subdivided-unit families are given a short break from cramped living conditions and daily life stress. They can enjoy hotel facilities, take time to relax, and create unforgettable memories with their children over a meaningful weekend, fostering a better family life.
For this event, the Yuk Ching Charity Trust fully supports the program. It will also continue to work closely with and communicate with charitable organizations, groups, and non-profit organizations (NGOs) across the Tsuen Ching District. The goal is to ensure that senior citizens, children, adolescents, and families in need who live in the community receive appropriate care and support.
