【Elderly Support Centre】** “I’m so Smart” Community Health Promotion Progrmme

The Yuk Ching Charity Trust has always been committed to community care and actively promoting healthy living. On the afternoon of May 13, 2026, representatives of our staff and trustee attended the "I'm So Smart" Community Health Program Recognition Ceremony organized by the Department of Health (DH).

Prior to this, Our Charity worked closely with the Housing Department and various regional organizations to support the DH in rolling out a series of community health lectures. Seizing this meaningful opportunity, we contributed our efforts to educating the elderly and local residents on essential daily health topics, including:

●   Dietary Iron Needs: Helping seniors understand the importance of iron in maintaining blood health and preventing anemia.

●   Daily Exercise: Encouraging elderly individuals to establish regular exercise routines to improve physical strength and joint flexibility.

●   Healthy Eating: Promoting the concepts of a balanced diet with less oil, less salt, and high fiber.

The recognition ceremony aimed to commend participating organizations for their dedication to community health promotion. Receiving this honor from the Department of Health is a tremendous encouragement to the Yuk Ching Charity Fund. Moving forward, we will continue to collaborate with various sectors to bring health and warmth to every corner of the community!
