This meaningful initiative aims to provide students with learning disabilities the opportunity to engage directly with the public through managing a festive booth — including selling products, handling payment transactions, and communicating with customers.
By participating, these children gain real-life social and practical experiences that extend beyond the classroom, helping them build confidence and better integrate into the community.
Touched and inspired by the purpose of this activity, the Yuk Ching Charity Trust has decided — after discussion among our Chairman Mrs. Lo and Trustees — to sponsor this year’s booth expenses. We believe in the value of inclusive education and aim to empower children with learning difficulties through concrete community-based experiences.
It is our hope that this support can play a small part in helping these children take active steps toward independence and inclusion.
