Yuk Ching Charity Trust supports education development and the【Students Leap Forward Award Scheme】is our first award scheme implemented in Hong Kong. The scheme benefits students who have insufficient financial support. We hope more students will benefit and will be encouraged to bring up their standards.

YCCT trustee leads the project. Started in Yuen Long District last year, the project is extended to North District this year. Yuen Long and North District Secondary and Primary School Heads Associations gave full support to the scheme and organized all the detail operations, including project planning and recommendations, school coordination  and also organized the award ceremony.

616 students from 137 schools were nominated and all received awards with the approval from our Education Committee. These awards aim at encouraging improvements in academic results, conduct and participation in services. The Award Ceremonies were held on 12th May and 16th May for Yuen Long and North District respectively. Our trustees attended the ceremony to celebrate results with all the students.
