【Hong Kong】YCCT wins the Hong Kong Volunteer Awards 2024 Corporate and Non-profit Organization Award

The Hong Kong Volunteer Award is co-organized by the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau and the Agency for Volunteer Service. It is an annual volunteer recognition program supported by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust through its The Hong Kong Jockey Club Community Project Grant scheme. The award aims to recognize the contributions and achievements of outstanding local volunteers, corporations, organizations, housing estates, and schools to society. This prestigious and influential "Hong Kong Volunteer Award" aligns with government policy initiatives, encouraging more citizens, especially young people, those aged 50 and above, and first-time or long-time inactive volunteers, to engage in volunteer work. It promotes active participation in community service, caring for vulnerable groups, fostering solidarity, and building a caring and inclusive society.

The Yuk Ching Charity Trust was awarded the Bronze Award in the Corporate and Non-Profit Organization category for the 2024 Hong Kong Volunteer Award, recognizing its efforts and contributions to promoting volunteer work this year.
