Crystal International Group Limited (CIGL) aims to become a leading global sustainable apparel manufacturer. Since 2007, the Group has been setting environmental goals, and one important objective is to plant one million trees every five years in regions where its various businesses are located worldwide. In 2018, the Group launched its third five-year plan, continuing to promote tree planting campaigns around the world, deepening employee awareness of deforestation and global warming issues, encouraging active participation in environmental greening activities, and promoting a green lifestyle.

Over the years, YCCT has assisted CIGL in carrying out environmental tree planting projects in the Qujiang District of Shaoguan City and other provinces. To date, more than 3,500 acres of land have been afforested, with approximately 350,000 trees planted, yielding encouraging results. The main species planted in these activities is the Camellia oleifera, which produces fruits that can be used for oil extraction and has multiple uses. While the trees are not commercially harvested, they still generate economic benefits for local impoverished villagers. Tree planting not only protects the environment but also improves the livelihoods of impoverished communities, achieving a win-win situation.
