Yuk Ching Charity Trust has sponsored【Students Leap Forward Award Scheme】since 2015. This year, the ceremony was held on 5th May.【Students Leap Forward Award Scheme】benefits students from various districts who have insufficient financial support. We have sponsored students in Yuen Long and North District in the past. In 2018, we co-operated with schools in Tsuen Wan, Kwai Chung and Tsing Yi to provide scholarship to students, to commendate and encourage their improvements in academic results, conduct and participation in services.

 

Our trustee led the project with The Association of Heads of Primary and Secondary Schools of Tsuen Wan, Kwai Chung & Tsing Yi District. A total of 550 students from 95 schools were nominated and all were awarded with the approval from our Education Committee.

 

Over 1000 guests, including principals, teachers, parents and awarded students attended the ceremony. Our trustees also attended to encourage all the students.
