【Elderly Support Centre】No Pick-Up Service during Pandemic Volunteers Help Deliver the Warmth to Members' Home

Starting from 28 January 2022, Yuk Ching Charity Trust Elderly Support Centre suspends pick-up service. Owing to the social distancing measures implemented by the government on restrictions on "2-person gathering", we thus prevent members from gathering when queuing.

Afterwards, in view of the public massively buying food stock, and considering our members' need for food support, Centre's staff and volunteers deliver the gift packs containing anti-epidemic materials and food to the hands of the members residing in Ko Yee and Lei Yue Mun Estates from 9 March to 10 March 2022, under the severe epidemic situation with tens of thousands of confirmed cases every day. Upon receiving the gift packs in front of their home, they express heartfelt warmth and gratitude. In the abovementioned period, a total number of 100 gift packs are delivered to the hands of our members.

We will continue to closely monitor the development of the epidemic situation. The Centre will resume normal services if cicumstances permit.
