Winter solstice marks the beginning of winter. In Chinese tradition, it is as important as Chinese New Year as it is a time for family reunion and celebration through good nutritious food.

This year Yuk Ching Charity Trust, in association with S.K.H. Holy Carpenter Church Community Centre, celebrated Winter solstice and Christmas with families in Kowloon City. Besides enjoying “pun choi”, the centre staff and volunteers prepared various games for parents and children, making the evening a warm and joyous festive event.
